tesa® 4204 is an environmentally friendly carton sealing tape. tesa® 4204 is based on a stable PVC backing, coated with a natural rubber adhesive. The natural rubber adhesive mass offers excellent adhesion properties to a large number of different surfaces, both polar and non-polar. The adhesive also features a high tack and high initial bond, needing only a short time until reaching final adhesive power. Handling and usage is convenient, as tesa® 4204 can generally be used on all common desk dispensers and can be removed after use without leaving any residues behind. The tape is available in multiple different colors, making it ideal color-coding or marking.
tesa® 4204 has a paper backing with a silicon free release coat and an adhesive system without solvents.
The product has the following characteristics:
It can be used for a wide variety of different cardboard qualities.
4204 can resist against short-term shocks as the elongation of the paper is very high – twice as high as comparable conventional paper tapes.
Seals are durable because the product combines high holding power with good tensile strength.
The product is easy to unwind and suitable for use with hand dispensers or packaging machines.
The natural raw material paper adapts itself harmoniously to the cartons and adds the high-class appearance of packaging.
