ADHESIVES: .......THREADLOCKING.......
  Threadlocking Adhesives:

- Ensure maximum assembly reliability by preventing nuts, bolts, and screws from loosening due to vibration.

- Eliminate the need for expensive locking devices while increasing the reliability and quality of your assembly. Only a few   drops needed on any part.

- Permit disassembly of the fastener with regular hand tools when removable strength products are used - no excess force   is required to disassemble parts.

- Seal against fluid leakage from the threads.

- Prevent corrosion between the threads.

- Withstand most solvents, chemicals, and other harsh environments.

- Provide consistent lubricity and torque.

- Cure only after assembly of the parts when the adhesive is confined between the threads.

- Can be pre-applied "dry" to fasteners for future assembly. For more information about pre-applied threadlocking   compounds, call your Loctite representative.

A low strength adhesive perfect for small fasteners, long engagement length fasteners and components requiring occasional adjustment. Removable with hand tools.

A very high strength adhesive which is particularly suitable for heavy duty applications and on fasteners where maximum strength is required.

A general purpose fast curing medium strength adhesive. Works on plated/passive and as received surfaces. OEM specified and service replacement for parts previously coated with Dri-Loc®. Good oil tolerance.
A high strength and temperature resistance adhesive up to 200°C.

A high strength adhesive which works on plated/passive and as received parts, is especially used on fasteners not normally serviced. Lubricity of product aids torque tension control.
A high strength, high viscosity adhesive ideal for locking and sealing of large bolts and studs, typically up to M36.

A low viscosity penetrating adhesive which uses capillary action to lock and seal previously assembled fasteners. Can also be used to seal micro porosities along welded seams.

ADHESIVES: .......THREAD SEALING.......
  Thread Sealants:

- Provide a positive seal by completely filling the leak paths between threaded fittings.

  - Provide an extremely durable solvent and chemical resistant seal.

- Cure to a controlled-strength sealant which prevents vibration from loosening the fittings but allows them to be   disassembled with regular hand tools.

- Will not contaminate systems when used as directed. Sealant not confined between the threads will not cure and uncured   sealant will not clog filters.

- Act as a lubricant during assembly of the threads to prevent galling and permit consistent torque.

- Enable adjustment or realignment of the fittings prior to curing.

- Can be pre-applied "dry" to parts in advance of assembly. For more information about pre-applied thread sealants, call   your Loctite representative.

A high strength sealant used to lock and seal fine threads of hydraulic and pneumatic connectors, typically those used in power systems.

A low strength sealant for use on coarse pipe threads. Slow cure allows more assembly time. Recommended for joints that might require realignment.

A fast curing, low strength sealant which locks and seals servo-machanisms and microfiltration systems. Non-contaminating. Easy disassembly with standard hand tools.
A high strength, fast curing sealant suitable for use on stainless steel pipe and other plated surfaces. Provides low pressure instant seal. When fully cured, will seal up to burst pressure of pipe.

A fast curing, easy to apply sealant for tapered threads. Excallent solvent resistance. Withstands continuous temperature to 150°C. Intermittent to 190°C. Provide low pressure instant seal. Controlled strength for easy disassembly. Low odour.

ADHESIVES: .......GASKETING.......
  Flange Sealants:

- Seal more reliably than conventional cut gaskets by permitting metal-to-metal contact between the flanges, filling only the   leak paths where there is no contact.

  - Make any size or shape gasket on-the-spot to prevent having to inventory various shaped pre-cut gaskets or having to   cut gaskets from a sheet.
  - Eliminate retorquing of the flange bolts since there is no gasket to compress.
  - Flex during thermal expansion of the flanges to sustain a seal.

- Provide an extremely durable solvent and chemical resistant seal.

- Do not shrink, evaporate, or dissolve.

- Scrape off flanges easily after disassembly-no griding or chiseling necessary-even months later.

- Cure only after assembly when the sealant is confined between the flanges.

A flexible, heat resistant medium strength sealant. Provides instant low pressure seal immediately after assembly of flanges. Typically used as aform-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections.

A low strength typically used as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections such as pneumatic and hydraulic valve assemblies.

A high strength sealant specially engineered for making or dressing gaskets in rigid assemblies. Particularly suitable where maximum temperature and chemical resistance is required. Temperature range is -55°C to 200°C.
A medium strength, fast curing sealant for close fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges. provides low pressure resistance immediately after assembly of flanges.

A general purpose, fast curing flexible product with cures on passive substrates (e.g. aluminium) and flexes with flange movement. It Has a high shear strength to assist the structural integrity of an assembly and will fill gaps to 0.5mm.
A non slumping and corrosive, low odour and volatile RTV silicone with excellent oil resistance. OEM specified. Designed for close fitting joints intended to be rigidly bolted together.

ADHESIVES: .......RETAINING.......
  Retaining Compounds:
  - Are high-strength single component materials used for cylindrical part bonding (retaining) of bushings, bearings, sleeves,   pins, hubs, pulleys, etc.
  - Increase the strength of press fit parts or retain loose fitting parts by filling space between the parts.
  - Prevent fretting corrosion between mated surfaces.
  - Seal against fluid leakage through the assembled parts.
  - Can make stronger assemblies than shirk or press fits while requiring less effort and energy to assemble parts.
  - Eliminate stress-related distortion of parts caused by press and shrink fits thereby eliminating cracked castings or costly   remachining.
  - Cure only after assembly when the material is confined between metal parts.
  - Can be applied manually or with automated systems.

A fast curing, low viscosity, oil tolerant adhesive used to bond cylindrical fitted parts, particularly where consistently clean surfaces cannot be assured.

A medium strength adhesive. Allows easy disassembly with standard hand tools for service operations. Low viscosity. Ideally suited for mounting ball bearings.

A high strength, high temperature resistance (up to 200°C) adhesive. Provides excellent shear strength on stell parts. High viscosity.    A fast curing, high strength and temperature resistance adhesive. For use to bond cylindrical parts where strength at elevated temperature is required.

A fast curing, high viscosity, high strength adhesive. Ideal to bond cylindrical fitted parts where gap can approach 0.25mm and where maximum strength at room temperature is required. Typically used where parts are subject to high cyclical loads.
A paste-form, fast curing adhesive used between cylindrical machinery parts to repair worn areas and restore correct fits. Fills gaps up to 0.5mm diametral.
